Earnest Prayer

There is a place in burdened intercession in which we labor with God, impassioned by a burning sense of His desire in the matter. We are fierce in the warfare because we know the fight we engage is the vehicle God has chosen to execute His will.

This is not an act of spiritual panic. This is not a religious exercise driven by fear. This is a holy concert in which our hearts play in harmony with the Spirit of Power. To this tune, the Father strikes down His foes and extends His reign of righteousness--on earth as in Heaven.

So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the Church (Acts 12:5)".
